Q: Has my favorite Mom's Best product been discontinued?

Q: What is your allergen labeling policy?

We understand and share the concerns expressed by consumers who are affected by food allergies. Food- allergic consumers should rely on our package ingredient labels for the most accurate information on a product. If a product contains any of the FDA major allergens (eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, sesame, shellfish, soy or wheat), it will be clearly listed in bold print in the ingredient declaration on the Nutrition Facts Panel.

Q: Which products are suitable for me if I'm on a special or restricted diet?

Mom’s Best offers products that meet special or restricted dietary needs. Please review the ingredients and nutritional information listed on the package to confirm the product meets your restrictions. You can learn more about our products here.

Q: What does it mean to be Heart Healthy?

Heart Healthy for Mom’s Best means our cereals meet the FDA’s definition for Healthy and contain 1 gram or less of saturated fat and 20 milligrams or less of cholesterol.

Q: What is the Whole Grains Council and what does it mean to be a member?

The Whole Grains Council is a nonprofit consumer advocacy group working to increase consumption of whole grains for better health. The Council reviews and verifies our products’ whole grain value.  As a member, we are able to use its stamp on our packages showing the whole grain value of our products.  See the following link for more information about the Whole Grains Council.

Q: What does it mean for a product to be Non-GMO Project Verified?

To be Non-GMO Project Verified means that the product with the Non-GMO Project Verified seal has been certified to meet Non-GMO Project Verified standards. The Project Standard requires products to not be made with ingredients derived from crops grown with genetically engineered seed. This standard also requires high-risk crops to be tested regularly to verify that the level of GMOs is below 0.9% for human food.

Q: What are natural flavors and colors?

Natural Flavors – The natural flavors used in Mom’s Best products are derived from plants, such as berries or vanilla beans.
Colors – Mom’s Best uses colors derived from plant sources, such as vegetable juice and annatto.

Q: Will Mom's Best make a product or monetary donation to an individual or organization?

Each year, Three Sisters receives requests for donations of products and financial support. While we would like to contribute to every worthy cause, our funding is limited to organizations that support the communities where our employees work and live.

Q: What does it mean to be Kosher Certified?

Most of our cereal products are Kosher certified. If the product you are interested in is Kosher certified, its packaging will reflect its certification status and category. Kosher certifications may change over time, so the best way to determine a product’s Kosher status is to look at the front of the package. Our product packages will always reflect the most current information.
